While Eudora and Kadita are classic counters, here’s the '2026' take on how to actually shut him down: The 'Marcel' Factor: If you’re playing the new hero Marcel, his 'Stasis Field' actually prevents Zhask’s spawn from firing projectiles for a few seconds. It completely guts Zhask’s DPS during his most vulnerable window. The Sora Matchup: Sora is a nightmare for Zhask right now. With his mobility, he can bait out the Dominator’s Descent and just 'Cloudstep' out of range, only to dive back in the second the Ultimate ends. Retribution is a Secret Weapon: A lot of people forget that Retribution deals full True Damage to Zhask’s spawn. If you’re playing a Jungler like Lancelot or Hayabusa, you can Retri the spawn to instantly delete a huge chunk of its health. Hot Take: Zhask isn’t actually weak because of those 10 heroes—he’s weak because Radiant Armor is so strong in the current patch. One item basically negates his entire 'laser beam' damage.
