Unknown Hero Item Build
Build "Attack & Defense", transforming Alucard into a highly resilient Sustained Fighter in the lane. Instead of focusing on burst, this build makes you a strong EXP Laner with incredible sustain and continuous damage (DPS).
Recommended Lane:
• EXP Lane – This build focuses on defense, not burst. Thus, it is suitable placed in the EXP Lane as a disruptor to the enemy's formation.
Recommended Battle Spell:
• Vengeance: Drastically increases durability by reducing damage received and reflecting a portion back to the enemy.
• Flicker: For additional mobility. Helps Alucard avoid ganks, chase enemies, or repositioning in a teamfight.
Alternative Talent Emblem:
[ Talent 1 ]
• Agility: Provides an additional Movement Speed bonus, very useful for chasing enemies or avoiding ganks.
• Inspire: Gains cooldown reduction, allowing him to spam skills in the early game.
[ Talent 2 ]
• Festival of Blood: Increases Spell Vamp, making his sustain much more formidable.
• Master Assassin: Increases damage to lone enemy heroes, suitable for dominance in the EXP Lane.
Situational Equipment:
• Warrior Boots → Tough Boots: If the enemy team has a lot of crowd control or many magic heroes.
• Oracle → Dominance Ice: If fighting against healer heroes, regeneration, or high lifesteal. Its passive effect can reduce enemy regeneration and shield.
• Athena's Shield → Radiant Armor: To reduce continuous magic damage (DPS) from heroes like Valir, Zetian, Chang'e, or Kimmy.
• Oracle/Antique Cuirass → Brute Force Breastplate: If the enemy team has a lot of crowd control. Additionally, gains bonus Movement Speed and Adaptive Attack.
• Antique Cuirass/Athena's Shield → Blade Armor: Suitable to counter Marksman with critical damage or heroes that rely on basic attack.
• Antique Cuirass/Athena's Shield → Guardian Helmet: Recovers HP when retreating from a teamfight. Its new passive can reduce high damage from heroes like Aldous or Brody.
Build Advantages:
✓ Possesses incredible sustain and durability.
✓ Consistent continuous damage (DPS). Although not burst, the damage from War Axe and basic attack continuously increases as the fight progresses.
✓ Has strong 1v1 potential and anti-gank capability. In a 1v2 gank situation, you can turn the tables or at least hold out long enough for help to arrive.
✓ Can become a frontliner that disrupts enemy combos. You can be a secondary initiator who dives into the enemy crowd, disrupts their formation, and forces them to focus on you while still surviving.
Build Disadvantages:
✖ Low initial damage (early game). It takes time to build core items before your damage truly becomes noticeable.
✖ Still quite vulnerable to crowd control (CC) and anti-heal.
✖ Reliant on timing and positioning. Entering a teamfight too early before the enemy uses their CC skills can be fatal.
Tips to Cover the Build's Disadvantages:
✶ Focus on farming in the early game. Do not force unnecessary duels before having Thunder Belt and War Axe.
✶ Monitor the enemy's anti-heal items. If the enemy starts building anti-heal items (such as Sea Halberd, Glowing Wand, and Dominance Ice), consider being more careful and prioritize targets who haven't purchased those items yet.
✶ Use skill combos correctly to maximize damage and lifesteal. Every basic attack after a skill will deal greater damage.
✶ Be a disruptor, not the team's main initiator. Let your Tank or Roamer start the fight. Enter after some of the enemy's CC skills have been used. Use Vengeance when you start getting focused by the enemy's damage dealer.
✶ Utilize Minion/Jungle Monster to recover HP.
⚠ Important Note:
• Use a basic attack after every skill use to activate the Thunder Belt stack.
• Always save Skill 1, do not use it carelessly. Alucard's Skill 1 is crucial for chasing enemies or escaping.
