Mobile Legends Account Region Issue – High MMR but No Local Rankings (Brazil → Mexico)

I have a Mobile Legends account originally created in Brazil. For the past 6 months I’ve been living and playing in Mexico, no VPN. I play ranked daily (around 5 matches), I’m Mythic Glory, and I’ve pushed several heroes to almost 3500 MMR (Faramis, Tigreal, among others). The problem: I never appear in local, state, or Mexico rankings, while I constantly see players with much lower MMR (1800–2000) showing up in those rankings. What I’ve already confirmed: I only play ranked I have consistent daily activity This happens with all heroes, not just one My suspicion is that my account is still region-locked to Brazil because that’s where it was created, and therefore I’m not eligible for Mexican rankings, even though I live and play in Mexico and have high MMR and rank. I want to know: Has anyone successfully changed the official region of an old account? Or is this unsolvable, meaning the only real option is creating a new account?
